Raphael Tuju’s Love Rival Tony Ogunda Could Have Died Of A Lethal Injection

The developing story of the Tony Ogunda tragic love triangle with the wife of Raphael Tuju revealed some interesting news. The man who is now at the centre of a divorce case filed by the former Rarieda legislator is was found dead on Tuesday. Despite the fact that Ogunda had received a court order restraining him from entering some of the property belonging to Raphael Tuju, the property n which he met his death on Tuesday is said to host offices of Kenya Hope Foundation, an NGO believed to belong to the Tuju.

On the fateful night, Tony Ogunda and a friend only named as Okoth had left the residence at about 11.00 pm and headed to town on a drinking spree. They returned to Upperhill at about 2.00am that night from Relax Pub on River Road. Okoth was hosting Ogunda and he took the bed while his friend slept on the sofa. Okoth was the first one to notice that Ogunda was dead after trying to wake him up at 6.20 in the morning without response.

Mysterious syringe and broken door
Since Tony Ogunda was named in the Raphael Tuju divorce case, he had told his family that he was receiving death threats from unknown sources. On the morning that he was found dead, a syringe and some drugs were found besides him. The drugs were labelled Humalog 1DNA 100 gms, which is a drug used by diabetes patients. The door to the room where Ogunda was sleeping indicated forced entry. Okoth, the only man who seems to be in a position to explain how the door was broken and who had forced their way in, is not opening up to the matter.

Accusations of crime and drug trafficking
As the case is right now, it is difficult to make any reasonable guess as to the cause of Ogunda’s death. Apart from the love saga with a Ruth Akinyi, the wife of 54 year old Raphael Tuju, Ogunda has had other cases following him. He is a former GSU officer who is claimed to have been dismissed from the force following allegations that he was involved in an abduction case. He is also said to have some links to drug trafficking. At the time of his death, he was a student at Maseno University and had only come to Nairobi to attend to a court case which his brother declined to talk about.

Could the drugs found besides Tony Ogunda have been used to murder him? Why was the door to the room he was sleeping broken into? Could Raphael Tuju who was in South Africa at the time of death have had a hand in the death of Ogunda. Did Okoth, the friend who was with him on that night set him up? We are following the story for you and we will be giving you the answers soon.
